Birthday Parties

Looking for a fun and educational setting for your child’s birthday or special event? The Children’s Museum of Findlay is the perfect place to party! Our exhibits provide children with hours of fun; and our friendly staff members are here to help out and make sure that you and your friends have a great time. Party Room rental starts at $175 for non-members and $150 for members.

What is included?

  • 2-hour private use of the museum 
  • Price includes museum admission for up to 30 total guests. No additional guests will be allowed.
  • A staff member or volunteer will be available to assist you 15 minutes hour prior to your party, check in with you periodically, and help you clean up afterward. Please ask for assistance as needed.

Guidelines

  • Parties can be booked a minimum of 3 weeks prior to your preferred date.
  • Party time options are as follows: Fridays 4:30-6:30p or 5:00-7:00p, Saturdays 4:30-6:30p or 5:00-7:00p, Sundays 4:30-6:30p.  
  • Pizza and/or "individually packaged snacks" that do not require buffet style service, cupcakes/cake or a treat and a drink may be served in the party room area. No other food will be allowed. 
  • Food must be served to the guests of your party. Self-service tables for your guests will not be allowed.  
  • All guests age 4 and older must wear a mask except when seated to eat or drink. 
  • All guests are asked to socially distance.
  • Chairs must remain where placed and no additional seating will be provided. 
  • You will be charged for the replacement of all items damaged by party guests.
  • Cancellations with less than two weeks of advance notice are non-refundable.
  • There must be at least 1 adult present for every 5 children in attendance.
  • Children must be supervised by adults at all times.
NOTE: Many of these rules are set by the State of Ohio and will be enforced to ensure we can stay open to the public and continue to serve as many children as possible. ​

Event Rentals

Party Room Rental

Our party room provides a gathering space for your group while the kids explore the rest of the museum. You can rent the party room during Children's Museum of Findlay business hours for $75 an hour. The Museum will be open to the public, but the party room will be reserved especially for you and your group. The $75 an hour price includes admission for up to 30 people. A two-hour minimum is required.

You may bring your own food and drinks, but they must stay in the party room. Alcohol is not permitted. ​
