Adopt A School Program
Thanks to a generous grant from the Findlay Rotary Foundation, the Children's Museum of Findlay is able to offer free field trip admissions to qualifying Hancock County preschools, grade schools, and Head Start programs.
How CMF Adopt A School program works:

Adopt A School Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants will be notified of approval or denial via email. If an applicant meets all of the above criteria, the school will be able to schedule a field trip to the museum without any admission costs to either parents, teachers, or schools as long as funds are still available. The purpose of this project is to allow all schools or educational organizations to have access to hands on exploration and alternative learning options outside of the classroom regardless of financial constraints.

Adopt A School Eligibility Criteria:
- Facility must be located in Hancock County and be a Preschool, Kindergarten Readiness, Kindergarten, First Grade or Head Start Classroom.
- 50% or more the students in the applying classroom or school must meet the current school year’s Ohio Department of Education Guidelines for Reduced or Free Lunches or demonstrate another financial barrier.
- Applicant must have principal or an administrator’s approval to apply for CMF Adopt A School.
- One Adopt A School free field trip per classroom is permitted per school year.
- School is responsible to provide all field trip transportation services.
- Teachers awarded a field trip are required to complete a brief survey within a week of the field trip.
